TROPOSAT

The Use and Usability of Satellite Data for Tropospheric Research

Co-ordination

The subproject is led by a subproject coordinator, with two deputies and a steering group consisting of the task group leaders and others with specific responsibilities. The scientific work is carried out by the principal investigators (PIs) within their own institutions.

The PIs are expected to find funds for their own work; the coordinators and the steering group are volunteers. The European Space Agency (ESRIN) provides some funds to support the co-ordination of TROPOSAT.
